Volunteering

TTFC relies exclusively on attendee-volunteers to make our event happen! All forms of volunteer effort are greatly appreciated, and will be rewarded!

Volunteers can sign up at the convention. Just go to Volunteers Table on the 2nd floor!

• Rules and Hours for Volunteering:
  • Hours available to volunteer are between 10am and 9pm.
  • No volunteers in Den or Alley until open to the public.
  • Assigned leads can deny hours or help at their discretion.
  • Hours worked as Kitchen and setup/breakdown count as double time.
  • 18+ preferred. 16+ could be accepted on a case-by-case basis.

• All Volunteers at TTFC will receive:
  • A Volunteer badge ribbon (while supplies last).
  • Items such as stickers, buttons, shirts, etc. (while supplies last).
  • Discounts at registration for the following convention year.

• Volunteer Hours Breakdown:
  • Anyone working less than 10 hours will receive a discount for TTFC the following year (basic registration), based on the number of hours worked:
    • 2 hours = 25% off next year’s registration.
    • 4 hours = 50% off next year’s registration.
    • 6 hours = 75% off next year’s registration.
    • 10 hours = Basic Registration paid in full for the following year.

• • Volunteers working under 6 hours will be put into a drawing for a fully paid Basic Registration.
  • Volunteers working over 6 hours will be put into a drawing for a fully paid Sponsor Registration.
    • The winners will receive:
      • Free Registration.
      • Take a percentage off of an upgrade (to Sponsor or Super Sponsor level) OR Roll their hours over to accumulate for the following year.

•  Rewards for Volunteering:
  • Small items like stickers and buttons for 1-4 hour volunteers.
  • Previous years shirts, lanyards, mugs etc. for 4+ hours.
  • *Current year items could be chosen on the last day if desired and available.
